It is the study of users that allow product designers to make informed strategic and design decisions. User experience designers are the advocates for the end user or customer, with their goal to provide usable, enjoyable and accessible products.
To produce useful insights, user experience designers such as myself can conduct user research and different forms of testing. This research often occurs at the earlier stage of the project, helping to validate or disprove strategic business decisions.
